Yazan wrote a recount of his experience and included an orientation to explain who, where and when as well as time connectives to sequence his writing. Yazan finished his writing to include a personal comment about the tower he built for the classroom city.

 

Yazan's recount typed:

 
 

Yesterday 2M made a town in the classroom. First I put cardboard on the top of the box. Then I cut some paper and glued the paper on the box. Last I put lids on my box to finish it off. When I had finished making my tower, I was happy with it.
